Estonia played 8-1-1 but our finishing just ain't good enough TBH...

With about 36 teams whatever going through to the Finals this Euro'16 is resembling the Europa League

Wilshire did say they see Rooney as a father figure. He is really taking to a role and played like an old man out there tonight :)

He needs to be dropped to the bench. He is a spent force IMO and has been for some while.

Do you think the commentators have to be careful what they say ? Tee hee.

old iron

That band are told what to play, are sponsored and think they're entertaining

They force an atmosphere complete opposite to the Northern Ireland fans who created a racket last night

Scraping a 0-1 against Estonia, quality stuff from Hodgson tonight.

Rooney isn't the problem.

Course I'm not lad.

Seriously who else is there to play at the moment ahead of Rooney?

43 in 99 isn't too shabby and I've felt sorry for our strikers for years as the players behind them create fuck all, though admittedly he missed a couple of easy chances tonight.

England win, Rooney scores.

Happened many, many times.

Re: Estonia v England
Hehe Eerie. Well that was sure to happen wasn't it. :-)

He isn't good enough to start at this level any more. I think it is plain to see isn't it?

I've pleaded for years that those noisy cunts from Sheffield should be banned from all England games. With them wailing away it's like watching some pony 2nd division game. I'm convinced they have a negative effect.

Re: Estonia v England
If Taylor was labelled a turnip or swede what the the fuck would you label woy after this?

Sir Alf 8:03 Sun Oct 12
Re: Estonia v England
It was the same with Lampard. Scores some goals in qualifiers to mask lack of quality contribution for 89 mins. Rooney is finished as a starter at this level IMHO and was before the WC. Similar to Nolan at West Ham, he could be a decent impact sub but Woy will persevere with him and we will fail when it matters. Same old story:-(
